Tool Crib Attendant (Storeskeeper)
This position contributes to the success of our company acting as the steward of inventory control. Our tool crib operates 24/7 and provides exceptional service to our paint and blasting operations ensuring all materials required to do the job are in stock and ready for use.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to)
the receipt, issuance and storage of:
- Consumable materials such as tape, paint brushes, sand paper.
- Paint products such as paints, thinners, etc.
- Tools and equipment such as paint spray guns, etc.
- First aid supplies and equipment.
Ideally candidates for this position have a high school diploma with a minimum of one (1) year stores experience however we will train the right candidate for the job. Other skills you bring to this position include;
- A sense of responsibility and accountability for your position.
- Ability to contribute to a team environment in an effective manner.
- Excellent communication skill.
- Familiarity with standard practices and procedures within a stores environment.
- Knowledge and experience in Microsoft office products including excel.
- Good judgment, with the ability to resolve issues and problems in a collaborative manner.
This position has lifting requirements of up to 22Kg(50 lbs.) Forklift experience is an asset.
